The work
I designed a six-level scope and sequence, from kindergarten to Grade 4, for an online English program. It includes 18 units organized around the six IB PYP transdisciplinary themes, so every level explores who we are, how the world works, and how we express ourselves, among others.
Each unit defines a central idea, lines of inquiry, key concepts, skills, learner profile attributes, and learning outcomes. I also wrote detailed unit planners, including All About Me, Storytelling, and Role Models, with lesson-by-lesson activities and materials.
For each lesson, I wrote the lesson flow and a brief for every material it needed: what it was for, what it should contain, and how it should look. Moon Bay's design team then produced the final materials from those briefs.
